The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct health care services to students under the direction of a RN. The Licensed Practical Nurse will administer medication and medical treatment prescribed by the physician. Ensures that the health needs of students are met, service delivery is monitored and evaluated, and adequate communication is provided to others participating in the care of the students.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The Executive Assistant to the Superintendent is integral to the daily operations of the Office of the Superintendent and the District as a whole. Since the Executive Assistant is often the first contact for the Superintendent, it is critical that this person understands and supports the district’s mission and values. The Executive Assistant provides a high level of support to the Superintendent by anticipating the Superintendent’s needs and using independent judgment and initiative. The essential function of the position within the organization is to monitor and approve entry into five large school campus on Shelby County Schools (SCS) property. This position must provide monitoring of the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems throughout SCS district daily and during athletic event when needed. This position must provide a minor level of technical support to trouble shoot and maintain the CCTV Systems problems. This position must be able to communicate with both verbal and non-verbal speaking students, staff and visitors. This position must be able to read and understand blue prints and have knowledge at all times of their assigned schools building. This position must work closely with the school principal and administrators daily. This position must successfully complete all systems and communication trainings annually.
Supports the organization or department by performing administrative and secretarial services for the Safety and Security Advisors. Assists management with administrative tasks such as tracking and compiling information of interest.
Responsible for operating a variety of heavy trucks, tractors, construction equipment, light duty pick-ups, grass cutting equipment on a regularly assigned basis; check for improper functioning of the equipment during operations; performing general grounds keeping and other duties necessary to maintain the appearance of the District locations.

The essential function of the position within the organization, under the supervision of a Supervising School Psychologist, is to participate in the facilitation of the Student Support Process by providing diagnostic, consultative, prevention, and intervention services on behalf of students in preparation for independent functioning as a school psychologist. The intern receives direct supervision in the practice of administering and interpreting a wide range of diagnostic psycho-educational assessment instruments. The intern will become familiar with a three-tiered prevention and intervention model of service delivery and will become knowledgeable of a range of behavioral and academic intervention strategies for consultation with teachers and direct service to students. The intern will become proficient in completing student evaluation reports in a timely manner, utilizing data systems, and establishing cooperative working relationships.
Perform specialized work by assisting school teachers in instructing and supervising the activities of students to provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning classroom environment. The position is responsible for assisting assigned teachers in preparing instructional materials, preparing classrooms for activities, supervising and assisting children in the classroom and in other areas of the school, reinforcing classroom lessons, and providing other assistance as requested; incumbents may be responsible for providing assistance to special needs students or coordinating special projects and programs as assigned.
