Purpose and Scope

Delivers at a high level of competency in complex technical support of computer and other technology issues for the Nutrition Services Office. Strong customer service skills are needed in addition to technical apitude.

Essential Job Functions

1.Performs onsite technology support in schools cafeterias and Nutrition Services Office.2.Coordinates communications with impacted staff regarding any software maintenance and small repair activities at assigned locations.3.Assists peer technology teams with assessment of technology hardware and software needs, techniques and procedures when consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.4.Responsible for administering technology products and applications which may include upgrades and patches.5.Identifies opportunities for improvement in technology, functionality, and/or performance; researches options; and makes recommendations for changes to the Manager.6.Ensures customer service and satisfaction is priority and works diligently to provide reliable, quality, and measurable service by all staff members.7.Works closely with staff in other offices to support the SCS technology vision and strategies.8.Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree, or two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours) or graduation from a vocational degree that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education or specialized education and advanced technology and training. In addition, two (2) or more years' experience is required.
