Purpose and Scope

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Delivers a high level of competency in reporting and accountability regarding the activities pertaining to Logistics and Warehouse Operations. Assist Director II by providing high-level administrative support.

 

Essential Job Functions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge or abilities associated with this classification, but are intended to accurately reflect the primary job elements.

  1. Performs advanced administrative work for multiple programs and projects, including crafting presentations and written communications.
  2. Manages Director II's schedules, internal and external meetings along with necessary correspondence.
  3. Organizes team building activities, coordinate events for staff such as retreats, and leadership events.
  4. Creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the Logistics and Warehouse Operations Departments
  5. Schedules and coordinates travel and conference arrangements for the Director II and Logistics and Warehouse team
  6. Monitors designated budgets and expenditures, reviews for accuracy, and adjusts revisions as directed.
  7. Manages office details by relieving the Director II of routine issues and keeps them informed of potential problems and concerns.
  8. Works cross-functionally to assist in other areas under Logistics and Warehouse Operations or Business Operations Departments as needed.
  9. Prepares and distributes notices, agendas, supplementary materials, schedules, and facilities audio-visual equipment, prepares transcribed minutes and follow-up actions, and video and or audio record meetings.
  10. Analyzes unit operating practices, such as record-keeping systems, forms control, office layout, systems, and budgetary requirements, and creates performance standards.
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred plus an additional 2 years of related experience, or equivalent, for a total education/experience of 6 years. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)

Degree Equivalency Formula:

Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.

Master’s Degree=6 years plus required years of experience.
