SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining athletic areas, fields, and facilities, assisting at athletic functions, and maintaining equipment for Memphis-Shelby County Schools. Requires a high school diploma or GED Certificate and six months related training and experience. Participation in a variety of sports, including knowledge of athletics’ rules and regulations with some background in grounds maintenance is Preferred. Requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record. First Aid and CPR training are desirable. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree=6 years plus required years of experience.
