The Senior Advisor - IT Applications position will provide strategic technical guidance and mentorship to the team. This role will lead the day-to-day support of the district's software systems and will be responsible for overseeing the integration between the systems and various business applications, facilitating seamless data transfers and process automation. In addition to resolving issues, the candidate will assess and tackle technical and application-related challenges associated with the district's applications, delivering advanced support to business users. This role will mentor the team supporting the district applications. The role will also involve process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows within the systems, and driving the implementation of best practices throughout the team.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Services or similar field plus five (5) years related experience, for a total education/experience of nine (9) years; or nine (9) years technical experience with ERP systems. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
