Works in an instructional support capacity to provide professional learning, technical guidance and best practice resources and materials in the area of Response to Instruction & Intervention (RTI2); liaises between Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, and the Division of Exceptional Children and Health Services for compliance and due process issues related to students suspected of having impairments or disabilities; and ensures adherence to state and district RTI2 implementation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related field plus a minimum of five (5) years of related experience related to the area of assignment; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience totaling nine (9) years. Valid State of Tennessee teacher licensure certification required. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
