Purpose and Scope

The Project Manager position delivers at a high level of competency in supporting students from Pre-K through 12 with behavior intervention and strategies to decrease suspensions and expulsions. Performs program review and implementation of behavioral strategies to ensure effectiveness and compliance with policy and MSCS guidelines and internal and external auditing designed to decrease suspensions and expulsions.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Develop and apply solutions to support students identified by Comprehensive Coordinated Early Intervening Services (CCEIS) plan.  
  2. Monitors and tracks behavior data to identify trends of infractions with student that may be considered for expulsion or suspensions.
  3. Monitors and review reports of behavioral data provided the Data Analyst, ReSet Room Assistants, and Behavior Technicians to identify strategies and interventions to be used in the classroom or ReSet room.
  4. Prepares narrative to support behavioral data found in Power BI and strategies / interventions used to support students on CCEIS caseloads.
  5. Collaborates with management and Data Analyst to determine type, scope, and purpose of analysis.
  6. Conducts school visits to perform student behavioral observations to assist with support plans.
  7. Order supplies for Behavioral Technicians and ReSet Room Assistants to assist with the social and emotional support of students.
  8. Maintain annual crisis training certification by attending classes offered by MSCS.
  9. Identifies alternative ways to support and reinforce positive student behavior.
  10. Plan and facilitate training classes for Behavioral Technicians and ReSet Room Assistants.
  11. Track and monitor student progress of identified population quarterly.
  12. Executes responsibilities in accordance to lawful and ethical standards.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, or other related field plus an additional 4 years related experience, or equivalent, for a total education/experience of 8 years. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)

 

Degree Equivalency Formula:

Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.

Master’s Degree=6 years plus required years of experience.
