Works in an instructional support capacity to provide professional learning, technical guidance and best practice resources and materials in the area of Response to Instruction & Intervention (RTI2); liaises between Charter Schools, Curriculum and Instruction, and the Division of Exceptional Children and Health Services for compliance and due process issues related to students suspected of having impairments or disabilities; and ensures adherence to state RTI2 implementation for district authorized charter schools.
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction or a closely related field plus a minimum of five (5) years of related experience related to the area of assignment; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience totaling nine (9) years. Valid State of Tennessee teacher licensure certification required. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree=6 years plus required years of experience.
